It was specially developed for the high demands of the BMW M5/M8 engine and offers an incredible 75% more external intercooler core volume compared to the standard intercooler. The optimized ratio between inner and outer cooling surface ensures maximum heat transfer and optimal internal airflow. The cast aluminum end boxes were designed using the latest CAD technology and optimized using CFD simulations. The result is outstanding cooling properties with minimal back pressure, which ensures optimal cooling of the charged air with a significant increase in performance.
